Erika Nolan
Meet Erika Nolan — a powerhouse plant nerd turned homesteading mentor. As a Licensed Landscape Horticulturist with a Certification in Horticultural Studies, Erika spent a decade running a thriving organic landscaping company in New Orleans. She didn’t just design gardens—she transformed rooftops, lawns, and city blocks into lush, edible ecosystems, proving that anything could grow organically, anywhere.
As her online community blossomed, Erika realized her impact didn’t have to stop at city limits. She pivoted from hands-in-the-soil landscaping to global garden consulting—helping clients across nearly all 50 states (and beyond!) design regenerative spaces through a permaculture lens.

Now rooted in the North Georgia mountains with her family, Erika lives what she teaches. Their 5-acre homestead is home to a 3,000 sq ft veggie garden, a thriving berry patch, orchard, dairy goats, meat rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and geese.

Erika's mission? To help first-generation growers turn any space into a holistic, productive, and nourishing homestead—no matter where they live.
